I bought these as an accessory to my Marie Antionette costume. The dress was pretty short and these made me feel way more comfortable. They still sheer in between the ruffles, but I didnt have too much of an issue with that. I will say though that the ones I purchased were listed as blue and white and ended up being completely white. That actually worked to my benefit, but I was surprised not to see the accent color.

Bought this for my daughter (20) to compliment her a dress which we feared might be more revealing then we were comfortable with. Turned out the dress was perfect but she wore these just in case. The pantaloons are a little sheer, but the ruffles keep anything from showing through. They cover the things you may not want others to see perfectly and she loved it. Not as "Ruffely"as pictured, the ruffles lay flat against the legs, etc. We did not consider this to be "sexy", we wanted something else from them and they do cover things perfectly.
